CSIR Net Exam June 2021:

This exam was canceled in June 2021 because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

So this Exam is held on 29 January in 2022.

for this exam, some good chances in the age limit.

let's see

Age Limit:-

A) JRF:-

In JRF, Maximum 28 years as of 01/07/2020 ( Upper age limit may be relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/third Gender/ PwD/Female applicant

And for OBC/NCL Applicants is about age relaxable is 3 years.

B) Lectureship / Assistant Professor (LS):-

No upper age limit.


Eligibility:-

- In eligibility criteria, M.sc or equivalent degree like integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years, B.E. / B. tech/ and B.pharma/ MBBS

- With at least 55% ( without rounding off) marks for General(UR)/ General E.Ws and OBC candidates 

- with at least 50% ( without rounding off) for SC/ST, third gender, and PwD( person with a disability) Candidates.

- Graduate passed students ( B.sc (Hons) or Equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in integrated MS-Ph.D. program with at least 55% marks for General (UR)/ General - EWS and OBC

- Graduate passed student with at least 50% marks for SC/ST. third gender, a person with disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply.

- Candidates with Bachelor's degree will be eligible for CSIR Fellowship Only. after getting registered/ enrolled for Ph.D/integrated ph.D program within the Validity period of Two years.

- Candidates those are possessing only a bachelor's degree are eligible to apply for junior research fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant professor.

Candidates who are just given the exam and waiting for the result, are in like this degrees B.E./ B.S./ B.tech/ B. pharma/ MBBS years, this is Result awaited candidates are eligible for Lectureship/Assistant professor.

- B.sc (Hons) Final year/ Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply.

- The Eligibility for LS( lectureship/ Assistant professor or NET qualified candidate will be subject to fulfilling the criteria laid down by UGC.

- Ph.D. degree holders who have passed master's degree prior to 19th September 1991 with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply for lectureship/ Assistant professor only.


Fees:

in fees, 

General/ General -EWS    - 1000

OBC/-NCl                           -  500

SC/ST                                  -  250

PwD                                    -  NIL ( no fees)



Question Pattern:-

1) Questions come in the exam:-
 
 in Part A is about 20, you have to solve 15, each question mark is 2, -ve marking for each question is about 0.5

In Part B is about 50, you have to solve 35, each question mark is 2, -ve marking for each question is about 0.5

In Part C is about 75, you have to solve 25, each question mark is 4, -ve marking for each question is about 1

The total number of questions are about all three-part is 145 and you have to solve 75 and that mark are about 200.


Mostly asked questions:

1) I Can't find My degree- what to do?

Ans: Go with the M.sc. equivalent, B.sc equivalent, RA as per your degree concern.


2) Can I Get LS if I am not qualified for the JRF mark cut off, but I am qualified for LS cut off?

Ans:- if you are not in the Result Awaited category, then you can go for LS cut-off.


3) I have 55% in M.sc. but Less than 55% in B.sc. - am I eligible?

Ans:- No, You have to be obtained 55% in b.sc and M.sc. also, if you do not get that much percentage then your application is not filled or you are not eligible.  ( for SC/ ST/ PWD is for 50% in both degree)

4) Do I need to show SC/ST/EWS certificates

Ans:- Yes. carry your all documents with you.
